Spend a day in Venice, with a simple roundtrip from Lignano, is easier than you think. Check the timtable of the Quickly Lignano Service, which from June to August provieds a Monday to Friday service starting from Lignano at 7.30 am. The arrive is scheduled in Punta Sabbioni where the trip goes on by boat! The final stop is right in the heart of the city, San Marco Square. There it's up to you, turn right to Riva degli Schiavoni and Arsenale a less touristic part of town, or left towards Ponte dei Sospiri and all of the most famous and crowded sites of Venice. The narrow streets called "calli", the churches, the historical buildings, the many top level branded shops or the cosy typical ones.. Venice is all of the world and all of the world is in Venice. And after a must try "cicchetto" the venetian "tapas" in one of the caracteristics "bacari" restaurant, an easyway coming back to Lignano is waiting, just in time for the aperitif by the pool!
